During the 2018–2019 school year at Bowling Green State University, I joined the cheerleading team—an experience that went far beyond the sidelines. While balancing game-day performances, workouts, campus events, and training for nationals, I also contributed as a creative. I designed promotional graphics for the team’s college prep clinics and other events, crafting content that resonated with my teammates and helped boost engagement on social media. It was my first taste of using design as a tool for community, connection, and school spirit.
